The beginning of March! The promise of Spring! Creation awakens after the dark & bleak months of winter and prepares to adorn the land in multi-coloured carpets of snow drops, crocuses and daffodils. Something deep inside me too is stirring. It is a profound anticipation of the revealing of the marvelous ways and wonders of God. Easter is in view. ‘Sacrificial love’ will be the theme on our lips. ‘Newness of life’ found only in a risen Saviour is our song! Jesus is Alive! He lives today in a countless throng of forgiven hearts. He lives today as the Church arises, shines and reveals a God in action. Today, Jesus still heals the sick, still restores broken lives and still is able to turn ‘our mourning into dancing!’ Excited? O yes!

On Saturday 29th May, the Church will be joining thousands across the Midlands and Stanford Hall in Leicestershire for The Big Church Day Out!
BigChurchDayOut is all about us coming together to celebrate our faith, no matter what our church or background.
BigChurchDayOut is about people and faith, music and worship, activities, families, and just being together. There's something for everybody, from a nice cup of tea with a Chamber Orchestra, to high energy worship, from story telling to touch rugby, from bouncy castles to quiet prayer...it's all about being ‘church' together.
BigChurchDayOut aims to encourage and inspire people to press in for all that God has called them to do, both locally and further afield. We also seek to provide a relaxed environment to introduce friends and family who have little or no experience of church.
