Sleaford New Life Preschool is an Excellent Preschool according to Ofsted, in all aspects of its operation. We now require a Preschool Assistant(s) to work as a Key Person for a named group of children from September 2009. You will need to be or become conversant with the Early Years Foundation Stage . You will also need to keep records and plan activities. A knowledge of the High/Scope Curriculum would be an advantage. You will be part of a strong, supportive team with opportunities for further training and personal development within the Preschool.
The Preschool is part of New Life Church Ministries and as such you will need to operate in sympathy with our core values. it would therefore be helpful if you are a practising Christian .
The post is part time, term time only for 38 weeks of the year. The pay is £7.19 per hour.
Sleaford New Life Preschool is committed to safeguarding children and the post is subject to an Enhanced CRB check. From October 2009 individuals will be checked according to the requirements of the ISA Vetting & Barring Scheme. The postion is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.i
We are ideally looking for someone with a current and relevant NVQ3 [CWDC] although applications are welcome from those committed to undertake any training required to achieve this within a reasonable time.

- New Life Puppets will be taking an assembly at Leasingham School on Thursday 2nd July at 3:00pm.
- Special Place Prayer on Sunday 5th July at 6:30om. A time to come together to pray for the Church, the community and the nation.

Summer Holiday Club 2009 - Showstoppers |

NLKidz Summer Holiday Club will be running Monday 27th - Friday 31st July, every morning 10.30am 'til 12.15pm. This years we will be following Scripture Union's 'Showstoppers' programme which includes songs, craft, games and the puppets! All primary school aged children are welcome! Places can be booked nearer the time through the church office.
Saltmine Theatre Company, who visited Riverside Church at Easter, will be presenting 'The Hope Play' at Friday Nite Live on 31st July, 5pm. All children who attend the holiday club and their families are welcome.
There will also be a Family Guest Service on Sunday 2nd August, 10.30am-12pm, to which everyone is invited.
