Keith, a Lincolnshire “yellow-belly”, has served the local church over 4 decades and is a regular minister at churches in the locality. He is a preacher and teacher of the Word. His passion to build and develop the local Church began at the age of 18 as Holy Spirit began to move in the more traditional churches.
His family are rooted in the farms of the Lincolnshire Fens. Keith moved to new things when he started working for local government in 1972. He is now a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and retired from his role as Human Resource Service Manager for Mouchel Business Services in Lincoln in February 2010. He is now Executive Pastor at New Life Church and has responsibility for all matters organisational. He is also a Common Purpose graduate.
Keith has served in Baptist, Methodist, Wesleyan Reform, and Pentecostal churches over those 4 decades and has been with New Life in Sleaford since the early 1980’s, joining the leadership in June 1985. He is also Secretary to the Church Council where he has responsibility for the charitable and legal arrangements of New Life Church Ministries. He also serves on the Board of New Life Conference Centre.
Keith is married to Diane, who qualified as a speech therapist and established the New Life Preschool, at the end of the 1980’s. The Preschool has now been recognised by Ofsted as “outstanding” on two consecutive occasions so Diane has taken the opportunity to step aside to allow new leadership to develop in the Preschool. She continues to support in a variety of roles as the Preschool develops. Diane is also part of the Worship ministry at New Life and a member of the Missions Team. They have two grown up children both of whom are involved in the life of the Church. Anna plays violin in the Worship Team and is involved with Worship Academy in various ways. Christopher manages the Church’s IT / PA systems alongside his work with the youth.
Keith’s dream is for the churches of Lincolnshire, “Humber to the Wash”, to share a vision, be equipped, and see phenomenal growth in this generation.
