We are quick to respond to specific needs across the world such as earthquakes, floods etc. as well as helping directly with poverty relief projects such as the sinking of wells for fresh water and aid. Fred and Doreen are involved in Romania with specific aid towards Church planting and work with street children. Work to help Children in Eastern Europe and South America is already up and running with new countries and situations under consideration including training of young Church leaders in eastern Europe.
All the missions supported by the Church are also available for you to support on a personal basis through Personal Missions Giving, plus any of the following:
Adopt a Child
Guatemala and Albania - represented by Paul Cocking in Dingwall, Ross-shire, Scotland. We have contact with Jeff Mills (wife Christa) via e-mail and visits. Martin and Ruth Baldwin are now out in Guatemala. Adopt a Child requires a long term commitment allowing you to see the child you choose cared for and grow up through the programmes in Guatemala or Albania. Each child is supported at £15 per month.
Living Waters Ministries
is involved in church planting.
New Life Overseas
an opportunity to sow into supporting those from our own church who may wish to go overseas for a short - or longer - duration to support a missionary project. This may not meet their full costs, they are likely to have to meet most of those themselves but through New Life Overseas we can begin to build a fund to act as a primer to allow at least some, perhaps limited, support of ventures that may take members of New Life Church Ministries to the various continents around the world. You never know one of them may be you!
Arab World Ministries
Reaches Arab people world wide but with a specific interest in Europe and North Africa.
Tear Fund
Where we would look to identify a particular project, normally in a part of the world we do not usually have involvement with. For those who choose to support this option you will be part of the decision making team that determines where the funding goes.
Romania
to support Fred and Doreen Allen visiting Romania. Then through them their contacts in Rumania especially Daniel and Mihaela and Natalia. Fred will be available to give a presentation to your Group during the year.
Belgium Evangelical Mission
in support of their president Johan Lukasse and the church planting in Belgium.
Plus a number of specific individuals with ministries in this country and around the world:
Martin Phelps
Martin and Sandy began their ministry in England here at New Life. They have since founded Logos Bible Church in London.
Norman Robertson
based in the USA but traveling the world with a Teaching and Evangelist ministry.
Pastor Suppaya
based in Singapore but with major outreach into India. He has visited us in Sleaford in the past.
